Old Trafford Football Stadium – Theatre of Dreams

manchester united football club ground accommodationThe reason so many people visit Old Trafford is because of the world-class standard of play that the footballers that play there produce. Some of the world’s biggest names in football have played there and still do play there; Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have all graced the stadium with their presence.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the ground will be full of football fans home and away, that have come to support their respective clubs. Many football fans choose to make a night of it when they come to watch Manchester United. They decide to come to Old Trafford, head out afterwards and most likely end up booking cheap hotels, hostels or b&b’s to stay in until morning. Many places to stay have free Wifi and are within easy reach of both Man Utd and the city centre.

Cheap Accommodation – Where Should I Stay ?

cheap b&b m16 0ra areaThe majority of football fans like to have a drink of alcohol before and after the game, to get them in the mood, it is a very social thing; people like to feel part of a club. Most fans will come to Manchester early, have something to eat before, have a catch up with their friends and make a real day of it.

Not only will fans socialize before the match, they will also meet up afterwards, often drinking until the early hours of the morning, leaving them in no fit state to drive home. Many fans visiting Man U’s Old Trafford football ground will want to book their accommodation in advance, to get the best deals and cheap hotels and b&b’s.

A bed and breakfast is probably the destination of choice, b&b rooms are very cheap and the clue is in the name, a bed and breakfast does what it says on the tin, you get a bed and then a nice hearty breakfast to cure the hangover from the night before, it is the ideal overnight accommodation for a fan of a visiting club.

An alternative is making a reservation for a fancy apartment rental. In general it’s easy to book a nice, cheap hotel room before or after a day at the match. What you really need is a bed and some food in the morning.
