Accommodation near Hampden Park Stadium
You could scour the Mount Florida area for a bed and breakfast if you’re only planning on staying for a day or two and there are several b&b’s within minutes of Hampden Park football stadium. Finding accommodation in this part of the city will situate you close by to Linn Park too. This is the second largest public park in Glasgow and provides ample space to enjoy some fresh air and a quiet afternoon within the confines of nature.

Directions
When driving on the M74 motorway, leave motorway at exit 1A Polmadie/Rutherglen and turn south onto Polmadie Road. Then turn right following Polmadie Road until the crossing with Aikenhead Road (A728). Turn left onto Aikenhead Road and follow south. The stadium appears on your right hand side.
From Edinburgh
Take the M8 from Edinburgh, which will become the A8. Just before the A8 becomes the M8 again, take the M73/74 turnoff (towards Carlisle). Once off the slip road go straight across to your right hand lane and pick up the M73 City Centre East. Once you go under the main signage move to the nearside lane and follow signs for Rutherglen.
Follow this road through Rutherglen until you see a large Asda store on your right. At the traffic lights turn left onto Aitkenhead Road. The stadium is approximately 250 yards up this road on the right hand side.
By Bus
Bus routes 5, 6, 7, 7A, 34, 90 from the city center are operated by First Glasgow. Travel time is 15 to 20 minutes.
The most frequent bus service from the City Centre is number 75, alighting at Aitkenhead Road.
