South East of England

South East

South East England is one of the most visited areas in the UK, being located around the English capital of London and is closer to the mainland. But I do not think geographical convenience is the only reason for its popularity; there is a lot of interest here for the traveler, from varied natural landscapes and historic cities to cities, fine majestic houses, gardens and adrenaline theme parks of world renown.

Planning a trip to south east of England requires a budget that is not overly cheap in order to visit as many places as possible. Together with London, the southeast is the country’s main economic power and is one of the most densely populated regions in Europe.

Some of the biggest sights in the southeast are known all over the world: the famous Royal Castle and Windsor Great Park, the “Oxford spiers and the white cliffs of Dover are synonymous with England itself. Venture beyond these icons and discover a blessed place with a long and beautiful coastline, two national parks (the New Forest and South Downs) and eight designated areas of extraordinary natural beauty.

The cities in the region have something unique to offer from the site of the oldest university in England For the ancient capital of the country by the bohemian Portsmouth sea in Brighton, Southeast is actually some of the best cities in the UK.
