Nearest Train Station ?

Newmarket rail station is the nearest train station 1.1 miles away from the tracks. Train services run from London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street Station to Cambridge, Stansted Airport and Ipswich where onward connections by rail or road can be made to Newmarket.

From Cambridge train station a courtesy bus links direct with the racecourse.

By Car

The A11 and A14 provide easy access from the major cities of East Anglia and from the M11 and A1 / M1.

From London

From London you have to take the M11 and exit at Junction 9 to take the A11 dual carriageway. Leave the A11 at Six Mile Bottom and follow the road to Newmarket. The A1 is helpful from the North and South, and the A14 links Felixstowe with the M1 and M6.

By Bus – Coach

A return coach service is operated on racedays to and from the racecourse from Cambridge train station and outside the Robin Hood pub at Cherry Hinton.

Shuttle Service from Town Centre

A complimentary shuttle service is provided on all race days. Shuttles run between Newmarket Town Centre and the course starting approximately two hours before the first race with pick-ups at Hughes Electrical Store, The Guineas Shopping Centre and Newmarket train station.
