The airport is directly linked via the non-stop Stansted Express with London Liverpool Street railway station in central London. Trains leave from Stansted Airport railway station, located at the terminal building. Crosscountry proved rail services to Birmingham New Street, including calls at Cambridge, Peterborough and Leicester.
