Music Venue Constructed in 1991
The complex was constructed in 1991, and it enjoyed a glorious opening night with Paul Simon crooning his mesmerising tunes. The venue went through several identity changes since then, and today, it is known as the Sheffield Arena. But no matter what name it went by, the complex has always been known for hosting some of the most talented music artists. With bookings for thrilling music concerts, hilarious comedy shows and exciting sporting events, it lives up to its dynamic reputation even today. It’s also the home ground of the Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team, member of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
