Robin Hood Airfield
Robin Hood Airport, between Doncaster and the city of Sheffield, was built on the site of the former RAF Finningley base. Originally used by the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War, it has been a centre of aviation ever since. After it was decommissioned from military use in 1995 it reopened in its present, commercial form, ten years later.
Robin Hood now sees flights to many destinations across the world. If you are lucky you might be able to pick up a last minute holiday either flying into or from the DSA.
