Parking
Luckily, Edinburgh International Airport offers parking to its customers who have a choice as to how close or far they can leave their vehicles too. Often, offsite spots will cost you less while those within the vicinity will be more expensive. When you opt for a parking located further though, you can take a shuttle to the terminal, and then use the same service the moment you return.
To maximize on the airport parking however, it’s good to make your reservation way in advance. Other than assuring you of a spot, this will also enable you to save some cash. Many hotels and b&b’s offer car parking and a (free) shuttle service as well.

Finding Suitable Places to Stay
When you are visiting the city, you shouldn’t worry about accommodation because other than the fact that there are many hotels and B&B’s venues here, most of them are fairly cheap and you will eventually find a place that is suited for your pocket.
While you may think that it is economical to book budget friendly properties away from the town centre, the truth is that it may end up costing more as you will have to make several trips back and forth. This also means you will waste a lot of time on the road that you would have otherwise spent doing other interesting things.
That aside, the good thing about checking into a cheap bed and breakfast is that it will work for you regardless of whether you are out on a long holiday, or on a weekend getaway. Popular is also staying overnight in a apartment for 1 night or the weekend. Visitors on a business trip will find plenty of hotels near EICC conference center.
Fun Activities for Travellers
Someone intending to stay in Edinburgh for a couple of days and nights will have plenty of time to explore the attractions this town has to offer. Still, this doesn’t mean you will get bored if you are only here for a weekend or just for one night.
Once you have reserved a room in your preferred bed and breakfast, you can walk (or drive) around and take pleasure in the charms of this wonderful location.
Consider touring the Edinburgh Castle, for example, if you want to visit a place that has served not just as a royal residence and a prison, but also as a birthplace of queens and kings.
To sample and buy some of the finest blends of whisky in this part of the world, think about stopping by the Scotch Whisky Experience; visitors throng this location every now and then just to gather a little more information on production of whisky. If you are more interested in getting your kids to learn about the universe though, a trip to Our Dynamic Earth would be a better idea.
Rugby fans will love a game at the Murrayfield rugby stadium.
