St Albans City train station is located half a mile east of the town center while Abbey railway station is at the same distance away to the south. Rest assured, affordable bed and breakfast accommodation to let is available in both locations.
An excellent inexpensive place to stay is low budget 2 star White Hart Hotel. This very cheap accommodation is an old coaching inn located in the centre of town, opposite the world-famous Cathedral and Abbey. A full English breakfast is available in the morning at this cheaper budget hotel.
