A football club with history dating back to 1879, Sunderland Association Football Club has its roots in Tyne and Wear County, which is in North East England. How to get to
It is fairly convenient to reach the stadium, which is a short stroll away from the Sunderland city centre ground. When first coming into the city via train, the National Rail has a stop (Sunderland) which is located nearby to the football stadium. Furthermore the St Peter’s and Stadium of Light Metro stops were constructed to benefit the stadium.
Quite convenient for highway travellers, a park and ride system is available on match days to enable viewers to park a further distance away from the stadium and avoid traffic headaches.
