Ferries – Ferry Port


Stena Line operates daily passenger services between Hook of Holland and Harwich. Operating on the Harwich – Hook of Holland route are two Superferries, Stena Britannica and Stena Hollandica.

DFDS Seaways make 3 to 4 weekly crossings from the Port of Harwich to Esbjerg in western Denmark. The route is serviced by DFDS Seaways newest cruise ferry, Sirena Seaways.

From London Gatwick International Airport:

Take the Gatwick Express to London Victoria Railway and Coach or Bus Station. This service currently departs every 15 minutes and takes about 35 minutes. On arrival in Victoria, transfer by taxi to London Liverpool Street Station.

Take either a direct service to Harwich Parkeston Quay or a train to Manningtree and change there for Harwich Parkeston Quay. Please note that there is only a limited service directly to Harwich and a change of trains may be necessary.

This service runs hourly during the day, Monday through Saturday, with reduced service on Sunday. The trip takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. On arrival in Harwich Parkeston Quay, the station platform is about 30 yards from the cruise terminal building.

From London Heathrow International Airport:

Take the Heathrow Express to London Paddington Station.

This service currently departs every 15 minutes and the trip takes 15 minutes. On arrival in Paddington, transfer to London Liverpool Street Station by taxi. Take either a direct service to Harwich Parkeston Quay or a train to Mannigtree and change there for Harwich Parkeston Quay.
