Manchester Royal Infirmary MRI is situated on Oxford Rd. MRI is a teaching hospital of the School of Medicine, University of Manchester and part of the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Located on the same site as the MRI are the new Children’s Hospital, St Mary’s (Maternity and Babies), and the new Eye Hospital (one of the largest teaching hospitals for ophthalmology in Europe).
Manchester Royal Infirmary hospital is a specialist regional centre for kidney and pancreas transplants, haematology and sickle cell disease.
By Train : Manchester Piccadilly railway station is around 1,5 miles away from the hospital site. There is a bus service (147) between Piccadilly train station and Oxford Road. The Royal Infirmary can also easily be reached by bus from Victoria and Oxford Road Rail Stations.
