Arriving at Newhaven ferry port is easy by car, train or bus. It is only 64 miles from London and 10 from Brighton with good road links and parking facilities. Regular buses operate daily to the port from the main destinations along the South Coast and train services run frequently to the port from London and connect to other network routes.

Newhaven Fort (Fort Road, BN9 9DS, England): fort housing exhibitions, displays and special events. Take a tour around the fort, commentary is both in French and English. The views are stunning.
Paradise Park (Avis Road, Newhaven BN9 0DH, England): pretty gardens. There is also a good adventure park with Dinosaurs for the kids.
Seaford Museum (Martello Tower 74, Seaford BN25 9BH, England): the museum show the history of Seaford and the surrounding area.
Seaford Beach (Seaford Bay, England): a shingle beach and promenade. The walkway promenade is great for a lovely stroll.
Seven Sisters Country Park (Exceat, Seaford BN25 4AD, England): great place to walk, stunning coastal views. There are many good walks along the cliffs. The cliffs at Beachy Head are wonderful.
