Where to Stay ?
Cornwall, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United Kingdom. It is a vast unspoilt county with plenty of rugged beaches to explore and numerous places to stay. If you’ll be using the airport, it makes sense to find a hotel, Bed and Breakfast or holiday park nearby, to break up your journey and see more of the spectacular scenery.

However, if you would prefer a more independent travel experience, there are many holiday cottages and flats in Newquay to choose from. To find the ideal place for your needs, just check our best deals before arriving. Most holiday accommodation can offer flexible dates for people who won’t be staying for a full week, although this can be harder to arrange during peak times.
A rented cottage or flat is a home away from home, you can come and go as you please without fear of missing breakfast, waking up the people in the next room or being disturbed yourself. Choose to stay by the bustling Newquay Harbour for wonderful sea views, or opt for a quieter location in a quaint Cornish village like Crantock or Holywell.
For people who prefer room service, fluffy robes, free toiletries in the bathroom and an in-house restaurant, then only a hotel will do. There are plenty to choose from in Newquay with everything from luxury four star hotels, to more economical options which offer great value for money. At the higher end there are hotels with pools, saunas and A La Carte restaurants which are exclusively for guests use, these often have views of the ocean and even beach access. Cheaper hotels are usually smaller and located out of the town centre, but you’ll still enjoy excellent service and comfortable surroundings.
A traditional British Bed and Breakfast represents a compromise between hotels and rented accommodation. You’ll get a warm welcome and a more personalised experience, as it’s usually families who run these establishments. A full English breakfast is served for guests during set times each morning, and this often includes a range of home cooked treats, along with familiar favourites like toast and cereal.
Usually run from a townhouse, most of the Bed and Breakfasts in Newquay are conveniently close to the harbour, and have just a few rooms, some with en-suite facilities. You can find out more about the type of rooms on offer and make a reservation online.
