Thorpe Theme Park, located in the county of Surrey nearby Chertsey in South-West England, is one of Britain's most visited amusement parks. The park has been operating for more than 30 years (from 1979). It's a great park for anyone who is looking for a fun day out! The park is home to several thrill rides and fun attractions for the whole family. If you pick the right day, you will have minimal queues of 15 minutes maximum. It gives you the chance to ride most things at least once.
If you pick a very busy day, i.e. weekend, school or summer holidays, you can expect long queues, anything from 1 to 3 hours. The only way to really get around during busy days in one day, is to purchase a fastpass.
Thorpe Park can easily be reached by car, train, plane and bus. When travelling by train, you can travel by rail to either Chertsey or Staines railway stations. Central London is less than 1 hour away by train. When driving, the park can be found on the A320 road, clearly signposted from Junctions 11 and 13 of the M25 motorway.
